Great, thanks for getting back to me. I'll close the bug when 2.68 gets done.

Cheers,

Simon.

Hi,

I've been running:

for a week and I've had no failures whatsoever, so I think it's safe to
close this bug if 2.68 is uploaded.

Many thanks,

Álex

Hi Simon,

I've built the package successfully and I'm running it now. I will notify
if there are problems or in a week if there's no incident.

  Brilliant. Many thanks.

Simon.

Hi,

After setting up libvirt, my dnsmasq occasionally stops resolving cnames
specified in its configuration file. My dnsmasq is configured with:

interface=br0 # for kvm
bind-interfaces # for kvm

, to prevent interference with libvirt's dnsmasq.

When this happens, if I kill libvirt's dnsmasq, the problem persists.
However, if I restart dnsmasq, it goes away.

Kind regards,

Alex

I'm fairly confident that this is a new manifestation of a known bug
that's fixed in the forthcoming 2.68 release, but it would be good to be
sure. Would it be possible for you to test 2.68rc4?

The source is available here and it includes the Debian build directory.

http://www.thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/release-candidates/
dnsmasq-2.68rc4.tar.gz

Alternatively I can supply you i386 binary packages.

Cheers,

Simon.
