Hello Jens, thanks for commenting on my bug report. I have only seen your message recently, since I was not in Cc (and I am not subscribed to the bug). I tested your proposed work-around. In other words, I tried putting the following line into my .xsession file: conky -d Unfortunately, the trick does *not* seem to work for me. Every time I start Fluxbox after booting the box, I get the Alarm clock error and conky fails to start... I switched back to sleep 18 && conky & which is ugly, but seems to work around the issue most of the times. Thanks anyway for suggesting a possible work-around! P.S.: Vincent, I cannot see any progress on the forwarded upstream bug report.
