Well, ffmpeg was dropped by Debian and the replace is libav (#729147). Vokoscreen supports avconv since 18.0 version. Thus, I used libav-tools (avconv) as install dependency and tested it. Worked fine. However, we may have a user using ffmpeg in the future and vokoscreen will prefer it.
There are three solutions: - Made vokoscreen conflictant with ffmpeg. Unstable haven't ffmpeg and Debian recommends the libav use. If the user installs ffmpeg by hand (compiling, not a .deb), it will provides all features and voko will work fine. - Write something about libav x ffmpeg in README.Debian. - Ask to upstream to make vokoscreen choose libav instead ffmpeg if both exist. What is the better solution in your opinion? 2013/11/16 Vincent Bernat <ber...@debian.org>: > ❦ 16 novembre 2013 11:50 CET, Vincent Bernat <ber...@debian.org> : > > Well, no.
