No, I closed your report because I can't make heads or tails of it. I 
could have just reassigned it to the Debian Installer package, but then 
the Developers would have probably done the same.

I would recommend you post to debian-user with a detailed description of 
the steps you performed and the error message(s) you encountered. Since 
it seems you need firmware during the installation try using an image 
from here:
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/firmware/
