This assumes that the exchange rate applies to all transactions made on
a given day, which I hope is *NOT* the case.

All I want is the ability to modify the exchange rate applied to the
transaction on the screen - *NOT* to modify any others.

(In fact, automagically linking other transactions on the same day to
the exchange rate is worryingly close to being a bug in itself).
