Package: gajim Version: 0.15.4-1 Severity: wishlist Hello,
In /usr/share/gajim/data/other/ Gajim ships its own cacerts.pem certificate store which is a subset of what can be provided by package ca-certificates. Gajim also uses certificates stored in /etc/ssl/certs since version 0.13. So it seems at least redundant to ship cacerts.pem and it makes managing systemwide certificates more cumbersome as one can't just disable a certificate with ca-certificates but has to remember to remove it from cacerts.pem - which only lasts until the next upgrade. So, it would be nice if Gajim would not ship its own cacerts.pem but recommends ca-certificates instead. Regards, Dirk -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
