Package: libgnutls28-dev Version: 3.2.4-5 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I'm fighting with my installation to get libcurl4-gnutls-dev installed after having installed gnutsl28 packages and I'm currently stuck in circular dependencies induced by libgnutls-dev that is only provided vy gnutsl26. Reading the control file of gnutls28, I think libgnutls28-dev should conflict/provide libgnutls-dev and NOT gnutls-dev. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.10.14 (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libgnutls28-dev depends on: ii libc6-dev [libc-dev] 2.17-93 pn libgnutls-openssl27 <none> ii libgnutls-xssl0 3.2.4-5 pn libgnutls28 <none> ii libgnutlsxx28 3.2.4-5 ii libp11-kit-dev 0.20.1-1 ii libtasn1-6-dev 3.3-2 ii nettle-dev 2.7.1-1 ii zlib1g-dev 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 libgnutls28-dev recommends no packages.
