Package: google-talkplugin Version: 4.7.0.0-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
After updating my distro of choice, based on Debian Jessie, with the 3.10-3 kernel, going to Gmail to use Google Talk I am prompted to install the plugin. However, I already have it installed. I have tried uninstalling completely, and reinstalling it with the current .deb that Google provides. This does not solve the problem. I am using SolydK UP 2013.10.06. The SolydXK developer has already been notified of this problem. However, further investigation shows that it also affects other users of Debian Jessie, or distributions based on it. Therefore, I felt it necessary to inform you of the problem in hopes that the Debian developers will be able to fix the problem from the source. Thank you for your time. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.10-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages google-talkplugin depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.27.2-1 ii libc6 2.17-92+b1 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-2 ii libfontconfig1 2.10.2-2 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libgcc1 1:4.8.1-10 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 9.1.6-2+b1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.36.4-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.20-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.32.5-5+b1 ii libstdc++6 4.8.1-10 ii libv4l-0 1.0.0-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.1-1 ii libxcomposite1 1:0.4.4-1 ii libxfixes3 1:5.0.1-1 ii libxrandr2 2:1.4.1-1 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.8-1 ii libxt6 1:1.1.4-1 google-talkplugin recommends no packages. google-talkplugin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
