Package: wmaker Version: 0.91.0-7.2 Severity: normal I work in a uxterm. 'date' shows the date and I can type Hebrew from the X keyboard. When I mark Hebrew text with the mouse and paste it with shift-insert it is displayed well.
However when I try to paste the same text using 'wxpaste' I get exactly one '#' (hash) mark for every Hebrew character in the original string. Numbers and English show up fine. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10 Locale: LANG=he_IL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=he_IL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages wmaker depends on: ii cpp 4:3.3.5-3 The GNU C preprocessor (cpp) ii debianutils 2.8.4 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfontconfig1 2.3.1-2 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.4 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libwraster3 0.91.0-7.2 Shared libraries of Window Maker r ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxft2 2.1.7-1 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- Tzafrir Cohen [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
