Fedora/RHEL has a patch for bind9 to add support for dynamic db's,
used by bind-dyndb-ldap package which allows dynamic updates via an ldap
backend. This is one of the prerequisites of FreeIPA server, which is
being ported to Debian.
The latest version of the patch can be found from fedora git:

AIUI bind10 should gain this feature at some point, but for bind9 it's
not going to be merged upstream.
I've tested that the patch applies to the current package (with some
offsets) and builds fine. I don't yet have FreeIPA server functionality
available to test that it actually works, though.
