IMO the two approaches are: track yourself (or via git) or track via the BTS.
in both cases I want patches via git, whether via mail attachments or as git
pull requests from public repos.

bikeshed branch if it's different from develop, which is rarely the case.)
"reportbug" from the devscripts package is useful to submit bugs, but any
mailer will do. see this example ;)
