I actually worked on this yesterday evening, too, but only came as far
as installing a chroot with Perl 5.18 for testing.
When the Cheese & Wine Party was about to begin, I noticed that I need
some of my build-dependencies (especially eperl) to be rebuilt for
Perl 5.18, too. Didn't come to the actual debugging.
So thanks again for the patch.
