dear mr. kern,

i packed this information and examples also in the tar.gz.

Package: pdf2svg
New: yes
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 0.2.1-2+b1
Priority: extra
Section: graphics
Maintainer: Philipp Kern <pk...@debian.org>
Uncompressed Size: 61.4 k
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.0), libcairo2 (>= 1.2.4), libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.12.0), libpoppler-glib4

to circumvent the problem, i compiled pdf2svg (0.2.1-2+b1) from these sources: https://github.com/wagle/pdf2svg with the following dependencies needed:

libpoppler-glib-dev 0.18.4-6
libcairo-gobject2 1.12.2-3
libspice-client-gtk-2.0-dev 0.12-5

let me know if you need anything else,
thank you,
all the best,
christoph

Can we see that also for the pdf2svg +b1 installation? pdf2svg can't really
be at fault here, given that it's a tiny shim over cairo and poppler.

Kind regards
Philipp Kern
