In my view, this bug is fixed when either of (1) stellarium is working with xrdp og (2) stellarium report some GUI message explaining that it can't work when started in xrdp. I believe some future version of stellarium will have (2), and thus am OK with this bug being closed in unstable when it is fixed there.
