udisks2 is the successor of udisks.
GNOME/GVFS already made the switch. Since both udisks and udisks2 are
co-installable, this means that currently both daemons are started if
you are mixing GNOME and KDE applications, which takes up unnecessary
ressources.
Please consider switching solid to the new interface.
