tag 502532 upstream severity 502532 wishlist thanks This is not a bug, as Bas Mitzvah is apparently a valid term for the Jewish coming of age ceremony for girls (on Yiddish). Therefore, I have proposed adding Bat Mitzvah to the event types in addition to Bas Mitzvah. See: http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=6921 Regarding the other suggested event types, I have not taken them forward for the following reasons: 1. Evacuation - although this was used in WW2 in England even for non-jews, the standard residence, immigration, or emigration event types could be used with a suitable note/citation. 2. Chuppah - researchers may come across this term, and it's use has varied over time and in different regions. However, in one way or another, it is associated with Jewish weddings. Therefore, the standard marriage event should be used with a suitable note/citation. 3. Giyur - This is a conversion to the Jewish faith. Therefore, the standard religion event could be used to record the change of religion, with a suitable note/citation. 4. Hajj - There is an active developer upstream working on the Arabic translations, and he intends to do a review of Muslim events that might warrant inclusion in Gramps. Regards, Ross
