According to https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/5377 it looks like it should be fixed in Transmission 2.80. However, I applied this diff https://trac.transmissionbt.com/changeset/14059/trunk/gtk/tr-prefs.c?format=diff&new=14059against the current transmission-gtk in unstable and it looks like the problem is gone. Any chance to see this fixed in Debian before the 2.80 release ?
