Package: d-shlibs
Version: 0.52
Severity: important

Dear Jonas,

While trying to build one of my package falconpl[1]. I noticed that
d-shlibmove was expecting package name with _ in it which is not valid
according to Debian policy.

To explain this SONAME of package calculated by readlibnameinfo is
libfalcon_engine.so.1.

This is passed to getname function to generate the package name which
generates package name as libfalcon_engine1 and dev package as
libfalcon_engine1-dev. Since my control file contains package as
libfalcon-engine1 and libfalcon-engine1-dev d-shlibmove exits.

Possible fix I can see is replacing occurence of _ in package name
generated by getname function with - I will try to come up with patch
for this soon.

Thank you,
