This doesn't work for me, since perl-modules 5.18 provides libmodule-pluggable-perl (so the separate package doesn't get installed and the warning persists, leading to the test failure). What works for me is: libmodule-pluggable-perl (>= 0) | perl (<< 5.17.0) Not sure if this is a cowbuilder oddity; might be different in sbuilder ...
