Maybe GNU/Hurd is fancy enough; I don't know. I don't know if it is possible _right_now_, but it shouldn't be hard to implement such a feature.
That being said, it'd definitely be a nice feature to have, and if someone implements it cleanly I'd like to see it included in GNU nohup.
