Hello! I can reproduce this problem with Wheezy kFreeBSD-amd64. Lxpanel segfaults when I run it. Christoph’s patch works as expected and prevents the segmentation fault.
This problem makes kFreeBSD’s LXDE unusable, so I hope the maintainer will find time to patch the issue. Could it be possible to get the fixed version to stable as well?
