Hi,according to the log file within this bug report, the failure was due to some segmentation fault in target "override_dh_auto_test:" and not due to an issue with gcc or eglibc.
The warnings already exist in buildlogs with other versions of gcc.
I could build the package with gcc4.8 and eglibc 2.17 without problem in a local VM.
