There is no need to edit any file 1) Type the pseudo url "about:config" in the url field of the browser 2) Click the button under the warning message 3) Type update in the filter field 4) Locate the "app.update.lastUpdateTime.background-update-timer" setting 5) Right-clic on the property name (in fact, anywhere on the its line) 6) Select "reset"
you are done. Quit and launch Iceape. The red bar and the warning message should not come again. Hope it helps... -- Bleck
