Package: python2.7 Version: 2.7.5-4 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Python 2.7.5 has a bug in the regexp engine that kicks up RuntimeErrors. The Python bug report is here: http://bugs.python.org/issue17998 It seems to affect a good number of Python libraries. Asheesh says to file this as a release critical bug, but I didn't see that as an option. Hope that's enough information! /will -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages python2.7 depends on: ii libpython2.7-stdlib 2.7.5-4 ii mime-support 3.54 ii python2.7-minimal 2.7.5-4 python2.7 recommends no packages.
