Dear Eric, Since 2010 "gitg" maintainer(s) didn't have time or opportunity to communicate your improvement idea to upstream developers.
We are also unable to develop this improvement so please feel free to propose it directly to "gitg" developers by filing bug with severity "enhancement" to upstream bug tracker: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/ https://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=gitg Ideally with a patch attached. ;) Thank you.
