I am not in favour of overloading the key binding.  ‘f’ should either
be always global or always local to the selected node.  Probably we
will introduce a new key binding such as ‘C-f’, and assign one
behaviour to each.  Which way that goes is yet to be determined as
this is a very low-priority task.
