I have just prepared a package for numexpr 2.1 (released today).
The new release introduces support for python 3, so IMO it is very
interesting.
Unfortunately it causes some breakage in pytables and this is the reason
why I introduced the "Breaks: python-tables (<< 3.0)" field in the
control file and why I set the distribution to experimental.
Please feel free to change it if you like.
Anyway pytables 3.0 (that supports numexpr 2.1) is currently in beta so
I guess we will be able to migrate both packages in unstable soon.
I would appreciate a lot if you would like to upload numexpr for me.
