Dear Maintainer, Every time I start Iceape today, it displays a red warning banner "Your copy of Iceape is old and probably has known security flaws, but you have disabled automated update checks. Please update to a newer version." Not reproducible with a fresh .mozilla/seamonkey. Workaround to stop it appearing without deleting your profile: edit .mozilla/seamonkey/.../prefs.js and delete "app.update.lastUpdateTime.background-update-timer" This is an upstream feature which seems inappropriate for Debian. The banner only shows up 90 days after the date embedded in the build identifier. I'm logging the bug as much to document the workaround.
