Ok, now this is interesting.. I just found out that I can connect to the "problematic" server by using the hostname instead of the machine FQDN (I have a DNS search configured for the machine domain, so it works).
The point is, this thing doesn't make any sense to me.. how comes the
server even knows how did I manage to resolve its address..?
