Package: oidentd Version: 2.0.8-4 Severity: important Hi,
I am using the ident method in PostgreSQL's pg_hba.conf. PostgreSQL (version
8.4.16-0squeeze1) complains about oidentd's response; in it's log it says:
2013-04-05 13:34:40 CEST LOG: invalidly formatted response from Ident server:
"52350,5432:ERROR:NO-USER
"
I've replaced oidentd with pidentd, using same PostgreSQL configuration (and no
configuration whatsoever of oidentd or pidentd). It now works just fine.
