Currently Ampache is shipping a modified version of getid3-1.9.4b1, the modifications that where made have been submitted and accepted upstream, landing in getid3-1.9.5, current debian version of getid3 is 1.9.3. I will be submitting a wishlist bug ASAP against getid3 to update to version 1.9.5 as soon as the freeze is over. When getid3-1.9.5 lands in unstable I will prepare a new upload of ampache sym linking to the system version of getid3.
