It's not just an encoding problem. I happen to be a Polack, so here are the problems in the pl table: * a bunch of words come from other languages: Alce, Reina, etc. They don't even appear to come from lang/table-pl. * some letters are shown that don't exist in Polish: q, v, x * ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ż, ź are missing
I'd also say that this package shouldn't be a part of wheezy, for reasons I listed in #608214.
