Hi,
While looking for packages build-depending on gnome-common, I noticed
yours. This build-dependency is almost certainly incorrect, I think
you should build-depend on libxml-parser-perl instead. The gettext and
intltool files are shipped with the bootstrapped upstream tarball
already, so there's no need for a package such as gnome-common, however
these Perl scripts do require libxml-parser-perl.
(Right now, gnome-common depends on intltool and others and intltool
depends on libxml-parser-perl, hence it works, but that's really
overkill.)
(I confirmed this within a pbuilder.)
