Package: dnsmasq Version: 2.62-3+deb7u1 Severity: normal At least when openresolv is installed in the same batch as dnsmasq, dnsmasq has no upstream DNS servers and therefore resolvconf setting namserver to 127.0.0.1 breaks name resolution when dnsmasq first installed. ifdown/ifup on the primary interface fixes the issue.
