Hi, I don't think that reverting that change is a good idea.
gsettings-desktop-schemas package should declare a Breaks against gnome-shell (<< 3.7.90), or 3.7.4.1 to be precise. gnome-shell 3.7.90 is on the way of being packaged in unstable I think.
