Thanks for your mail! Attached is a bzr patch bundle that contains a first iteration of this feature. The bulk is the test data, the actual patch is relatively small. I only created a artifical testcase for it, it would be great if you could test it with unattended-upgrade --debug --dry-run for the real world case where it refuses to upgrade the package.
