//Sending to Debian because upstream developer is a Debian maintainer

Hello,
Yesterday I was trying to repair my FAT32 partition with dosfsck.

When I run:
$dosfsck /dev/sda6 -frv
it reported:
-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[...]
Reclaiming unconnected clusters.
Reclaimed 7 unused clusters (??????) in 2 chains.
Free cluster summary wrong.
Correct? - yes
Leaving FS unchanged.
-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I rerun it, it reported the same error.
I was trying different parameters, but neither -av nor -rv solved the
problem.

(I don't have a detailed log of the above, only some notes written on a
piece of paper. I don't know what was in the parentheses, it is also
quite possible that the listing contains results of two separate runs of
dosfsck, with different parameters, separated before "Free cluster
summary wrong" because there I have a line on my piece of paper. It is,
however, certain that I was getting errors complaining about unconnected
clusters and free cluster summary wrong and successive trials did not
correct that.).

I finally run (this time the listing is exact):
-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
$dosfsck /dev/sda6 -wr
dosfsck 3.0.12, 29 Oct 2011, FAT32, LFN
Reclaimed 7 unused clusters (114688 bytes).
Free cluster summary wrong (63571 vs really 63578)
1) Correct
2) Don't correct
? - 1
Perform changes? (y/n) - y
/dev/sda6: 183638 files, 2111661/2175239 clusters
-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

/dev/sda6 has a cluster size of 16384 bytes. The file system has been
mounted but is probably unchanged since then.
