The backtrace won't be necessary. This confirms my suspicion that the current Debian package of SWT 3.1 does not work on the amd64 platform. When the Debian package of Eclipse moves to the main Debian archive, the SWT package will likely be replaced and this should fix the issue with amd64. It might be some time before that happens though. Cheers, Shaun
