Many people have asked and the answer is: No it will not! I've spent alot of effort trying to convince the release team to allowing updating iproute to be able to ship with working codel out of the box with wheezy.... They allowed very big changes to the kernel (including the entire BQL backport), but at the same time decided the (in comparison) very small and harmless changes to iproute where to big this close to release (they said, right after the freeze many months ago). I've thus given up.... You're free to talk to the release team on your own. Just install iproute from experimental.... should be very easy to do since iproute has very few dependencies. (Unfortunately the "xt" aka "ipt" module, which very few uses, will break if you do because of iptables SONAME bump in sid.... If you want everything working, rebuild the experimenal version from source on wheezy). -- Andreas Henriksson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
