Package: ginkgocadx Followup-For: Bug #686376 This is a non-issue.
When Ginkgo-CADx is started it will show a "start page" in the right hand side (if so configured - and that's the default). On the right hand side, normally images are displayed in tabs. Ginkgo-CADx does not close as long as an "image" is open on the right hand side. In this case the start page. Yes, this is unfortunate programming (especially since there's no feedback) but, no, it is NOT a bug. Please close this report unless the original poster shows instructions to replicate the reported behaviour independant of the above explanation.
