Hi,

I’m also now getting messages like this:

Waiting for /dev to be fully populated...done.
Activating swap:swapon on /dev/nfhd8p2
swapon: /dev/nfhd8p2: insecure permissions 1660, 0660 suggested.
swapon: /dev/nfhd8p2: found swap signature: version 1, page-size 4, same byte
order
swapon: /dev/nfhd8p2: pagesize=4096, swapsize=2037374976, devsize=2037377024
[ 15.530000] Adding 1989620k swap on /dev/nfhd8p2. Priority:-1 extents:1
across:1989620k

Being a Unix user, I know of the sticky bit and that this
is not problematic, but this message can cause users to
worry and applies to a *default* setup of Debian (seen it
on amd64 today too at work).

Since people could panic about Debian being insecure by
default, I urge you to change this and ignore the sticky
bit in checking whether to warn. (No idea about the suid
or sgid bits, but haven’t seen them yet around.)

bye,
