Hi, JFYI, in mksh, here documents (and here strings, and in the future, process substitution) also creates temporary files, although it does honour $TMPDIR (and even track changes of it, as long as it’s not unset, during the script runtime).
For completeness. We do have three viable shells for /bin/sh in Debian, after all. (Actually four, and /bin/mksh-static is even faster than dash.) bye, //mirabilos -- I want one of these. They cost 720 € though… good they don’t have the HD hole, which indicates 3½″ floppies with double capacity… still. A tad too much, atm. ‣ http://www.floppytable.com/floppytable-images-1.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
