Package: xmp
Version: 3.4.0-1.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
XMP won't play any of the lha-archived modfiles from aminet.net's
repository. Extracting those files manually with lhasa -x and then
using xmp to play the modfiles directly works fine. XMP 3.4.0 and 3.5.0
can play these files transparently on my Slackware machine, and the XMP
Android app handles them as well. The problem persists with both lhasa
and the old crufty lha-1.14 used as the system's "lha" executable, and
when compiling the xmp source in both Debianized and upstream formats,
which makes me think it's something else in the Debian system that might
be poisoning my attempts to play the extracted file.
