Tank you for reporting this bug. I didn't notice it because it works/worked fine without acpid on my Asus W1Gc and does also on my brother's HP notebook. The upstream author did not tell anything about needing it (AFAIK). > My machine is TOSHIBA dynabook SS 2120 DS11L/2. I don't have any toshiba notebook, so I asked somebody to test it. Will Thompson (resiak) tested it on his toshiba A50 (thank you). But he told me that it works: <resiak> ufoalien: Battery #1 : charged, 100.0% AC adapter : on-line Thermal zone 1 : ok, 70 C Because I think that acpid is generally a good idea to use (and it doesn't work on your laptop"), acpid is going to be recommended in the next version of the package (acpitool-0.2.8, which was already packaged but not uploaded by sponsor) best regards, Nicolas Weyland -- Nicolas Weyland ,,, [EMAIL PROTECTED] /'^'\ http://ufoalien.bug.ch ( o o ) -----------------------oOOO--(_)--OOOo--------- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
