Package: pidgin-microblog
Version: 0.3.0-3
Followup-For: Bug #599099

I also experienced this crash. But after checking Issue 266[1] on
microblog-purple project's issue tracker, I managed to connect by using
u...@api.twitter.com as username instead of the email address usually
used when connecting to the twitter.com webapp.
