Hi, I can confirm this bug even with a local printer.
Yesterday i've used Debian Installer 7.0 Beta4 to install Debian 64 bits on my father PC Since he has a usb printer Epson Stylus_SX130, i've installed the corresponding driver (http://linux.avasys.jp/drivers/lsb/epson-inkjet/stable/debian/dists/lsb3.2/main/binary-amd64/epson-inkjet-printer-201101w_1.0.0-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb from http://avasys.jp/eng/linux_driver/download/lsb/epson-inkjet/escp/ ) but then gnome-control-center couldn't manage to install the printer.
