This may be related to use of the uas driver (UAS = USB-attached SCSI). This driver is not ready for production use and is no longer built in version 3.2.35-1. All UAS devices should also implement USB storage and we have a mature driver for that. Other distributions made this change earlier. Please let us know whether this is fixed in 3.2.35-1.
