With a patch that fixes #692555 another issue pops up.The X2Go plugin in package 3.99.2.1-1 plus the patch that fixes #692555 crashes during session startup. The plugin container reports that the qtbrowserplugin behind X2Go plugin has crashed and asks if the user wants to reload the plugin.
