Ah OK, this clears the things up. I don't have strong feelings in any case, I don't expect someone to be using this version of the package nowadays. On the other hand, I don't also see the clear benefits from removing it. I'm planning to adopt the package anyway, and I have prepared a package with the latest upstream. The actual upload (in experimental anyway) will take some time, since kismet is a huge package that has to be thoroughly tested before sponsored.
