I think this is a feature request for the Osmo developers and i have forwarded this bug report accordingly. It is a known fact that Linux/Unix uses a different newline marker than Windows. In my opinion it is easily doable to convert the document with a free software application beforehand and then to import it with Osmo. Osmo does not have to support every proprietary software.
